AFI - A Deep Slow Panic

Hallo! It's been a while since my last post. In this moment, I'm participating in a Creative Allies contest. It's about the next AFI single called 'A Deep Slow Panic'. It would be really great If I'm the winner. AFI is one of my favorite bands since ever. So, this is a result and a little story behind this artwork.

Vote here please:

"Fear and Panic. A Slow panic. This is a story of a hunted animal that runs across the forest. Its killer aim at it with an arrow on fire. When it runs, it burns the forest. Its death represent the death of the other sorrounding species. A massive death provoked by a scared being. A deep slow Panic."

Concept Work - 4Cuartos

Concept work developed for 4Cuartos, one of the biggest rehearsal rooms and recording studios here in Bogotá, Colombia. They have this pet, called Cory, and the concept is based on the Underground music and the constant support they give bands and musicians. Unfortunately, the client didn't approve the work, therefore is a concept work. Work developed with: Sergio Borrero Ferrer, Pablo Méndez and Nicolás Serrano.

Those 'Antes de Correr'

This was a really interesenting project to work with. It's another music artwork. Consist in Cd cover and Cd layout, a vintage chromed logotype (The logotype was created by Sergio Borrero Ferrer and i made the chrome part), website and iPhone and iPod stuff for the Bogotá band THOSE. The whole project was developed by Me and CASA AMPERSAND. This is where I work right know, and it's beautiful to have that great work group. Special thanks to them: Sergio Borrero, Pablo Méndez, Daniela Castiblanco, Diego Pinilla, Juan Mattos, Jóse Malagón and Johanna Quijano.

KILLSHAKEL RIPSAW - Spawn Fleshless [Promo Illustration]

Wow! This is one of the things i love of my entire job: Infinite Possibilities and ways to make things. I always say: I hate to watch Gore Movies, but i love to Illustrate and draw Gore. I mean: Guts, Intestines, Crazy Eyes, Rotten Flesh, Blood everywhere. It's kinda funny to draw those kinds of elements and incorporate them in an Illustration. Well, my kids in Killshakel Ripsaw contact me to illustrate their next single cover 'Spawn Fleshless' (You can listen to it in their link). The main idea was proposed by their vocalist Jonnathan. Apocalyptic, Horrifying, Raw and Direct: Genuine Pornogore Illustration!
Here is the result: Enjoy it!

UNDER RED BLOOD SKIES - 'As Buildings Fall' Cd Layout

This is a work for the band Under Red Blood Skies. They wanted a War concept, but at the same time, a love story Illustration. For me, was such an honor to be part of this proyect. Anyone who knows my design carrer, knows that i love Vintage Design / Style. In this opportunity, i work based on World War II Documents, Photos and other style elements. I simply love the result: Great photos taken by: Juan Nicolás Contreras Gracia of the guys dressed in old suits and stuff. Ok, Images worth more than words, so this is the result:

Addicted To Chaos - A Taste of Chaos

Well, this is a CD Layout for the band Addicted to Chaos. They  wanted a Chaos God in their cover. They give me some names, some gods from ancient mythologies like Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu, Shiva, Vishnú and others. The name of the Ep is A Taste Of Chaos. The main thing i did, was invent a brand new Chaos God, with all other gods characteristics. Here is the work:
